This role ensures that all components are adequately supplied and kitted to adhere to the production schedule along with handling media related activities within the ISO 8 area.
ISO 8 Activities:
Ensure accurate SAP inventories are maintained for all components.
Proper status segregation and storage of media lots.
Support the maintenance of an “audit ready” state of the ISO 8 Area
Timely response to all module requests.
Batch Records are properly kitted and staged based on production schedule.
All gowning materials in the ISO 8 area are maintained to adequate levels.
ISO 8 area has ample supply of non-inventory items
Logbooks entries are clear and complete.
Kanban system is utilized to ensure FIFO
Equipment cleaning is performed as required
Ensure Batch records are reviewed and corrected in a timely manner.
Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance will be measured: indicators, activities…)

MBR right first time

Position Title: Associate Director, State and External Affairs

Reports To: Director, State and External Affairs
Job Purpose:
Individual will be responsible for successfully developing strategy for, and executing, the development and implementation of key State and External Affairs strategies in multiple states within a region. The overall responsibilities include: (1) leading state lobbying/advocacy efforts consistent with position and (2) building/enhancing strategic partnerships with targeted patient advocacy groups, professional societies and other key policy stakeholders. This individual will provide significant leadership to internal/external key stakeholders in area of responsibility.

Description
Individual will work closely with local Field Leadership teams, Director of State and External Affairs, and the full Public Affairs Department to achieve the following goals:
Lead, develop, and execute plan to attain key goals that support business and policy objectives;
Lead varied, cross functional and multi-disciplinary teams;
Shape, represent and advance legislative, policy and alliance strategic objectives through membership and active participation with key partners;
Identify and build strategic alliances with key state/local policy stakeholders, professional societies, patient advocacy groups and third party organizations within key MSAs;
Shape, develop, implement, coordinate, and communicate consistent advocacy strategies, partnerships and programs;
Drive open access of medicines (in government and non-government programs) through the development, implementation, and execution of best practices with government agencies and local stakeholders in the region;
Persuasively communicate positions on relevant public health, economic, and clinical issues to key stakeholders, alliances, and to key Government individuals;
Lead the creation of opportunities for networking between the regional leadership and key State and External Affairs stakeholders; and,
Represent at association workgroups and events and participate in advocacy meetings.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred;
7+ years pharmaceutical sales, patient advocacy, government affairs experience or similar, with a demonstrated track record of success;
Ability to effectively lead, and work closely with, cross functional teams;
Ability to influence others from various external/internal groups without direct reporting relationships;
Excellent verbal, written communication and human relationship skills;
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with patient advocacy groups, government officials and other stakeholders;
Ability to work closely with their field counterparts to maximize business opportunities;
Ability and skill to deal effectively with executive management, Regional leadership, USMM, corporate medical officers and staff;
Strong business background and knowledge of state government and local key stakeholder/patient organizations;
Creative thinker and problem solver ;
Ability to develop/articulate a vision and translate into practical actions steps and results.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with:

Direct state government and/or patient advocacy groups;
Government affairs and/or alliance development leadership;
Managed Markets and sales leadership;
Gaining results in a matrix structure;
